Baltimore Bands: Weekends

Echoing vocals and underwater guitar melodies lift you to a new dimension when you listen to Weekends.

A two piece art rock band, Weekends the kind of fresh riffs and murky-watered singing that drowns you in a dream beyond this world. Having recently played at the Copycat with Super Vacations, Tremors II, and Spacin', this band has the kind of sound that will transport you and transcend you. Almost religiously ceremonial vocals create the atmosphere for the otherworldly in songs such as "Peer History" on the album "Acoustic Tape Vol. 1". The footsteps of the drums lead you down a path that parts from the ordinary, and reverberating tones wash around you like thin paint.

Check out their latest single at their bandcamp and buy their album while you're at it.
